Questions
Do I have to pay?
No. Every tier up to Legendary can be earned free by taking part. Buying just gets you there straight away, or lets you gift a tier to a friend.
Why do tiers go in order?
So upgrades build on each other: you need Uncommon before Rare, Rare before Epic, and so on. Earned tiers count, so most members can skip straight to the next one.
Are payments safe?
Payments are handled by Stripe. 9NTY never sees or stores your card number. We don't accept crypto.
Refunds?
Upgrades start straight away, so the 14-day cancellation right ends once you confirm. If something goes wrong, message us on X and we'll sort it out. Refunded upgrades are removed.
How fast do I move up?
Straight away. Your tier is worked out from your real account age, forum posts and reputation every time you load a page.
Can I lose a tier?
Only if your reputation drops below the requirement, or a moderator removes posts that broke the rules.
What is Mythic?
Mythic is given by the owner to people who make 9NTY better: helpful members, creators and contributors. The site owner has Mythic automatically.
Where do I change my style, title and signature?
In your control panel.
